I can't help but think of a comment made by a Turkish rescue worker on NPR
a few days ago, something to the effect that the people who built the
buildings which collapsed so easily "didn't respect their work". In the
future, both Building code enforcement and upgrades are considered
certain...the new barn will have doors with locks.
