Walked up and down the waiting line under the warm marquee lights at Town

and 6 Avs, the sharp fluorescent triangles of the Chrysler spire NE cor
42/Lex, the red and green of the Empire State E side of 5 Av betw 33/34.
What a large (and multidirectional) back you have, my dear.
The only glow I can think of coming off the Radiator Building is from the
radiator paint (i.e, bronzing powders, as opposed to gold leaf, the real thing)
used by the cheap-ass developer in a half-assed attempt to highlight a
refined and dignified building already trimmed with real bronze. As a former
owner of two operating coal stoves (a kitchen range and a parlor stove, both in
my much-lamented Joisey City Manor), I wouldn't dream of comparing their very
real (and very warm) glow to the Radiator Building nowadays.
Bah humbug. And a Merry Christmas to all.
