That's the problem with writing implied sarcasm, it gets lost in the
translation, I know you are very aware, and besides, I squeezed my comments
in between design projects, so I didn't proof read it before sending. I
forgot about Rather losing out over that.
I was discussing Bush last night with the family matriarch, and the
discussion led to the fact that I have never disrespected a president like
this one, even Nixon I paid attention to. I quit listening to Bush about two
years ago, maybe more (obviously I'm having problems judging time lines)
aside from the fact he is not "articulate" (I can't stand listening to him
give (read) a speech) I have a problem with his disrespect for the
Constitution, and the office of President, not to mention what appears to be
his contempt of the American people. Bush was a piss poor governor at best,
so we should have taken that as a fair warning.
This is why I recommended Iacocca's book to you a couple of weeks ago, the
man speaks what I've been feeling and saying for years, get a copy, it's a
quick read, then send it to the White House.
We need "None of the Above" on the ballot.

He was "serving" our country at the time. I know.
Who said you were wrong, not me? That was my impression of what you meant
by saying "catch up on your history." The whole issue created a large stink
down here a year or so ago Seems to me that was way longer than a year ago,
and was what cost us Dan Rather. , the former base commander's records of
the time being questioned, along with his (the commander's) reputation
being put on the line, Bush's "service record" ect, Bush not keeping his
required flight time up while in Alabama. If I'm not mistaken he never flew
again once sent to Al., hence the $1,000,000.00 piss off. Why not look at
the bright side and consider the damage the stupid sonofabitch could have
done if he HAD flown (Makes you wonder if he had flown in Nam, and ended up
in the Hanoi Hilton if it would have shortened the war). On the other hand,
that rosy scenario (yeah, I know, you used to date her) might have kept him
the hell out of office and saved us a hell of a lot more recently. We're
definitely screwed either way on this.

I knew he was in Alabama; that's why I said Alabama. So why was I wrong?

Catch up on your history, Bush was with the TANG 147th Fighter Wing (based
in Houston) assigned to Alabama for "special training". We should have paid
attention then; set into motion was his ability to piss away over
$1,000,000.00 of the tax payer's money with no hope of a noticeable return.
