...probably not even a registered architect!!!! -christopher

You're darn tootin' that this guy is an absolute idiot. The bad news is,
he's probably a registered architect to boot. And is the following bushwa [see,
I don't use cursewords ALL the time] all his or some of it actually you
making fun of him?
<<<A new discourse would find life Life? The magazine, or as in
microorganisms, coral, pigeons, etc? in the practice of the living vernacular. The
vernacular is practical knowledge Does looking in the coin returns of pay phones
constitute practical or impractical knowledge? in evolution. Ah---learning
NOT to bother to look in the coin returns.

A new discourse must must? seems kind of a strong, obligatory word to use.
How about "should?" Or "can if it feels like?"engage the materials and
techniques of industrial fabrication. Which materials and techniques are not
industrially fabricated? This includes mass produced elements such as windows and
columns What columns? Wolmanized 4x4's? 3" diameter pipe columns? bridge-sized
steel columns? as well as new materials including plastics and composites.
What about plastic windows? Do they get engaged twice? And what about
plastic engaged columns?
These materials deserve Deserve? Have they been good little materials all
year? What about the other materials, deserving and otherwise? the design
attention once once lavished on
iron. When it was poured into molds like so much jello, and before it was
superseded by steel? Vinyl awaits its Ruskin. It can wait by HIS mailbox.
Palladio would have done wonders with Dryvit, Does he mean the styrofoam part of
the Dryvit, or the 1/16" thick coating applied to the stucco? He can see
Palladian-inspired Dryvit wonders on any suburban branch bank or car dealership
built in the last 10 years.

A new discourse will study of the needs and preferences of the common
person Ahh-- the common person who lives in a mobile home? Or a cinder
block home. Or a NYCHA apartment. Or, worst of all, Roosevelt Island. with a
deep sympathy

A new discourse engages the world of the production builder with
reckless enthusiasm.>>> Well, he's back to Dryvit and plastic windows
again.

You're right. This is too irritating. Forget it.
