Saving us from the Commies /or here is another fine mess .....high from our 
victory on San Juan hill and our brillance in Panama there was Dewey's Invasion 
of the Philippines (040 and not forgetting our pursuit of Pancho Villa and 
his invasion of Texas and New Mexico while Irving Berlin wrote its a grand old 
flag we were kicking butt with our big stick policy just waiting for the Kaiser 
to sink the Lusitania .....with the exception of a few good years of the 
Beach boys and dancing naked at Wood stock the last hundred years of  US World 
History reads like a Gothic horror of a military  imposed Democracy that would 
have made Jefferson turn in his grave and Warring G. Harding dance atop it.
What were we doing in Haiti in 1916? I dunno what were we doing in Iraq? In 
ten years my daughter may be drafted for what seems like the  second Punic war 
and that's after Hilary raises taxes.....I was flipping channels trying to 
zone out and ran into a computer dramatization on national Geographic of real 
life homids existing on the African Riff 3.2 million years ago; seems all was 
going swell until one homids defecated on the food when it appeared the other 
homids were about to run him off ...same Ka ka .. just athother day .......  Py
