Last Sunday I listened and decided that the conditions wer pretty terrible.
Also, a special events station in Minnesota was on 258.5.

Today I tuned my transceiver to 14258, but didn't make any calls.
Conditions seemed better than last week, but not so great.  I'm thinking
that we have heard each others' voices, struggled to hear a small number of
stations, and perhaps wasted each others' time.  If people think that we
should resume the net after being off for three weeks or so, let me know and
I'll try calling it again next Sunday.  Correction:  I have a church picnic
next Sunday, so I can't be on again until August 1.  So let's hear whether
folks want to continue the net or not.
