My wife has the print edition of QST, but we haven't really sat down 
to look at it yet.

My guess is that, like numerous other such articles on the subject, it 
is the basic gimmick circuit that Bill has updated to use currently 
available parts.

I will report back as soon as we get a chance to take a look at it. If 
anyone else can get to it first, please go for it!

As for me, I'm still waiting for the March QST on the BARD site in 
order to read about the broad band antenna for 80 meters.
