I'm much like you Jerry.  Rest rooms are a pain in the ass, well I 
guesws they would be <smile>, but I mean as far as getting around.  I've 
had to ask for help at times.  My wife and I did almost everything 
together except ham radio stuff as she wasn't interested.  Even if other 
people were there, she insisted she be my guide which was fine with me. 
I had a friend in Vegas who we'd go out with some times, and he was 
blind, his wife was sighted.  He would insist on using his cane and 
following her through the casinos which I thought was a little over 
board as far as stressing independence.  I just grabbed my wife's elbow 
and away we went, and we made much better time.
