I have lost my sight after 30 years of marriage, it will be41 years this
October. We have adopted to this and have adjusted very well. The only
problem is when she says " It is over there" and we still laugh when I say "
Over Where ".

I've been married for 20 years to a sighted woman and it has worked very =
well for us. There are challenges, but we have worked through those and = to
be honest, we complement each others strengths and weaknesses. Is it =
perfect? Nope, but what is? Now as a guide, well I'd much rather let my =
German Shepherd do the job cause he is much better at it than she. And =
since he is pretty good at following her it means we make very good = time.
Of course there are times he'll do his best to run her down, but = hey you
can't have everything. grin
