Nah, Gary, it doesn't put you closer to the Pro version.

Let me put it simply: If you want continued security and support updates from
Microsoft, you need SP2. I've installed it on three machines with no problems
with JFw. I do know some folks who have had problems, but by and large, there
haven't been many. It gives you much better security, and protection against
pop-ups than SP1 that I wouldn't hesitate to advise installing it.

Subject: Xp-home

Hi All. Getting ready to upgrade to Xp home. I understand that I can use
the current application of JAWS. I have heard of someone adding the service
pack two to their XP home addition. Should I stay away from this??? For I
have heard that it puts you closer to XP-Pro, Is that right?? Thanks to
all if you can shed some light.. Gary KB2YAA
