Hi Kevin;
I'm not sure what pin the Kenwood uses however, that's not important because
the jacks are positioned closer together then any of the other
manufacturers.
The only mics that will work with the Kenwood are the mics that are made for
the Kenwoods.
Icom, Yaesu, Alinco, Standard and the Radio Shack are interchangeable.
