Hi.

The only finals that I ever popped was on an Icom 706 running through the 
auto tuner.  I got to cables crossed and ran the tuner into the 50 ohm 
dummy load instead of my G5RV.  Believe it or not, the IC706 didn't like 
running into the AT180 into the dumjmy load.  It popped the instant I 
touched the key taking out both final transistors and the driver transistor 
at $55 apiece.  All three transistors shorted when they blew.
