Hi;
Its a shame you can't punch in the actual tone frequency rather than 
remembering which number corresponds to which frequency.  It would only be 
two or three extra numbers.
I have used both the tmg7a and the tmv707a and although you give up cross 
band repeat I found I rarely used it.  The fact that you get some audio feed 
back when setting a pl tone is worth the sacrifice.  Sold my 7a about 6 
months ago and it was hardly used.
