Hi:
Ok, perhaps there is not to be done about this, but, with the TS-2000 and a
DTMF mike, you can use the mike the same as with the TM V7A and G707 to
control functions of the radio and for direct frequency entry...however,
when this option is turned on in the menus, you lose DTMF
capability...unlike on the TM V7A and g707 which allows the DTMF to work on
tx as well as the buttons to act as function controls.
Is there a way around this, or have i just not set a menu item properly? or
is this just another one of the TS-2000's interesting peculiarities? Like
not putting a DTMF pad on the 12 digit keypad, or not putting in a duplexer
for VHF/UHF....not problems, just peculiarities in a radio that seems to
have almost everything.
