I think best bang for the buck these days and that includes 
accessibility is the 590.  Many of us run one and like the rig a lot.  I 
have a 990 so don'[t use my 590 much these days, but it is a great 
radio.  Tentech use to build a good radio and had fantastic service, but 
no more.
