I was amazed to hear that the WWV 2.5 megs signal barely makes it into Denver in the daytime. Admittedly I don't know anything about ground wave
propagation at that frequency. However, I erroneously thought that the signal would almost pin your meter.

On a related note, does anyone on this list have urls for time signals. I used to have the one for the naval observatory but lost it after having to reformat. My
needs are not so precise that I cannot compensate for the approximately ten or eleven second offset caused by the buffering. However, I want an url because
our local phone time signal automatically disconnects after one minute, and it is frustrating if one is trying to set several clocks precisely.

On another related note, do all of the Zenith Speakeasy vcrs have that feature where they will check WWVB?

My Zenith sits a few inches over my Dishnet set top box which emits more RF than some hand helds. So it can never find the WWVB signal.
