The Kenwood TS940 was one of the first Kenwood radios to offer PC interface capability. I used mine with TR-Log for years, but I'm sure one of the Windows programs would work fine. I graduated to N1MM Logger on acquiring my K3 as TR-Log wouldn't drive it for some reason I've forgotten and I needed to join the 21st century with my ham radio computer.

You do need a separate little box to adjust signal levels and the cables to go with it. The CAT interface is also an option that needs to be installed.

One advantage of the old Kenwoods is that they offer a speech capability which although limited did, together with meaningful beeps, offer a reasonable degree of accessibility.

As it happens, I'm trying to sell mine, but I wouldn't recommend you having me try and send it overseas (HI).
