Hello listers,

I have fond memories of owning a rocket radio while I was attending the
school for the blind in Brantford, Ontario.

I cut off the little crystal ear phone and put a plug on the end of the
cable that I then used with my Wollensak tape recorder as an amplifier.

We only had one station in Brantford on AM that was ckpc.

It had a varied format.

With this arrangement the fidelity for am was tremendous.

I've heard fm stations even now that sounded worse.

Just wanted to share those fond memories.

Eric
