Hi Richard,
I was a little sticker shocked myself when I first started looking at them.
It didn't take long to learn if you want a solid state no-tune amp you're
going to pay for it. I'm trying to find one that I really like and one that
is well built so it will last a very long time.

73, Gary

Subject: amplifiers

Hello;
There was a review of the Tokyo 1.2 in June qst. Sounds like quite a nice
amplifier until I got to the price. I was definitely a victim of sticker
shock. They are supposedly coming out with a model 1.1 so the article says
with a switching power supply to make the unit about ten pounds lighter.
Wonder what it will do to the price?
Richard
