Hi Doug and Sheila,
I'm curious how you used the beam with your radio for the fox hunt? Did you
listen for signal strength change? Did you have to use an attenuator to
reduce signal strength?

Thanks,

Subject: fox hunting

Congratulations, Richard for winning the fox hunt. Last summer our radio
club had a two part antenna workshop building those tape measure yagis. Two
blind persons took part in the hunt and they finished both second and third.
The third blind person would have been myself; except that my yagi broke. I
did partisipate in the one that was held the following month and I finished
second. There was a guy who had all kinds of fancy gagets and he was so sure
that he would finish first. He finished dead last; and I mean, really dead
last. He finished an hour after the guy who finished first. 73. Doug, N6NFF
