I too am glad that we were able to acquire a donated Brailler for the 
individual in our area who needs it.

I hear what you are saying about the relative ease of Window Eyes, but Jaws 
is the software package that my University supports, and that is what I have 
an old copy of that I can donate along with a computer they are willing to 
let her have.

The individual is a member of Handihams, and I know they have Jaws 
tutorials, so I'm hoping that with the tutorials, and a little help from me, 
she can get up and going with it in time.

Will keep everyone posted.
