I agree with Sylvia.  I was married to Nancy who was also blind for 8 
years.  She was the one who couldn't handle my blindness, I couldn't drive 
her places and so forth.  Libbie had her sight and we had a very good ten 
year marriage.  We did almost everything as a couple, and having a sighted 
partner was certainly better for me and had a lot of advantages.
