I would like to thank everyone for their advice. It has been very helpful
and thought provoking. After reading through all the information, it seems
to me that "morning" sickness may be somewhat normal. However, my wife
(Alicia, 26 yrs old) has always eaten a SAD diet with lots of dairy and
grain products, so the detox suggestion may have some merit as Alicia has
become very finnicky about eating. Over the last year she has slowly moved
towards paleo as I have. Coincidentally, the book she is reading "What to
Expect While Expecting" (?) recommends a near-paleo diet except that it
encourages eating whole grains and low-fat dairy. Fortunately, Alicia will
stick to paleo as much as possible.

I now have two other questions. Alicia is taking non-allergenic, pre-natal
vitamins. Is this necessary/healthy? Also, I understand that folic acid is
very important...what foods are rich in folic acid?
