Hi all! Hope everyone had a great holiday. Mine was less that pleasant due
to my grandmother. She insists that she does not use butter or milk in her
cooking, but my husband and I and our youngest daughter all end up getting
sick after eating at her house. We all get our typical dairy allergy
symptoms.

This time I asked her if she may have accidentally used butter or milk in
something and she became very defensive and totally denied it. This is the
same woman who would try and force me to drink milk when I was a child even
though it would make me projectile vomit. She does not believe us, and thinks
cow milk is essential for human life. She even tries to give our kids cheese
when they are there.

I don't want to start World War III, but I am tired of everyone coming home
from her house sick. I guess from now on I will have to bring our own food
when we go there. But then she will get very upset and insist she doesn't use
milk or butter. AARRGGHH!!!

Do any of you have a relative like this? How did you deal with it?
