Ship building may indeed be an explanation. I have never seen it in Ohio,
western Pennsylvania, Michigan or upstate new york. I am, however, just as
often wrong about species identification when I out of my own back yard.

Thanks for the come back and the invite. I'll take you up on it. I'm not sure
that will change how I feel about Eric a great deal.
