Hi Liza,

I hope you understand that I'm not replying just for ego purposes. I simply
want to address your vent/question regarding Aajonus' fees.

1) His Book: Aajonus wrote a book for the very purpose that people could
examine most all of his recommnedations without every speaking with him. Almost
everything that he would tell you in a consultation could be found in this $30
book.

2) Price: You have mentioned that his fee is a constant $300/hr. I would
advise that this is not the case. $300 is the charge for the "1st time
consultation;" if you felt the need for additional consultations the fee is
dropped to $150/hr for any subsequent consultations.

2) "Only for the Rich." You mention that he caters only to the rich because of
his high prices. I have a question for you. Put yourself in his place. You
charge $30/hr for consultations and have thousands calling you for appointments.
Many of them are not really serious about your recommendations and are just
calling for general information (that could be obtained in the book itself).
You have two choices: see everyone on a first-come, first-serve basis,
including those who haven't really researched the diet, only seeing a fraction
of the people who want to see you. However, you could increase the price to the
point that it weeds out those who are not as serious about the consultation. To
me it is as simple as the textbook case of supply and demand.

I understand your point of view; $300/hr makes him look like a criminal. But
I'd be interested to see what you would do if you had thousands of people
knocking on your door for a consultation, wanting mostly to know about
information that you had already published in a book.

Well at least that's my way of looking at it. Maybe others see differently.
Regards,

Ben
