... thank you for refreshing my brain with the specifics.  I am also glad that
you had a similar reaction.  When I posted that reaction on the listserv (was
it preservation-L?) I got a haughty reply from the SHPO staffer that she
"wasn't aware I had to justify our actions".

Someone else mentioned you had been expelled from Preservation-L.  Were you
really expelled, or did you just leave quietly?  Or is Bullamanka actually a
crafty cover-ID for P-L?
