Hi,
In following the various postings on the list, I have found much
discussion about biopsies and blood tests as "regularly performed" followup
procedures. Once I was diagnosed as a celiac, I have been pretty well able to
tell when I got dosed with gluten. If the effect was small, I thanked the one
upstairs that I had dodged the bullet, and went on. If I got really sick, I
would try to figure out what caused it so I could avoid it in the future. If
I am not symptomatic, I assume all is well.

Here's my question. What is the value of serologic tests if you are
asymptomatic? If antibodies are present, how will you ever know what is
causing them? To me, my well being is a test I get (for free) every day. Am
I missing soimething?
