Yes, I can understand that point of view (although I disagree). But what
*may* have happened, it that adults *may* have taken the initiative on
a few occasions. For instance, both articles (L'Express and Liberation)
say that GCB initiated his son Christian to masturbation. That's not
necessarily bad (I think that nearly 100% of boys masturbate and feel
guilty about it), but you cannot deny that the adult has gone further
than simply allowing the child to do something.
Other example: when an adult touches the genital parts of a child (as stated
in L'Express article) without the child demanding it, it's not simply
allowing the child to do certain things.
