Would be interested in what you discover.  One angle on this question might
be to consider mammals who naturally eat even fewer carbs than humans.  The
cat, for example: are cats in ketosis on a mostly protein & fat diet and if
so does it cause liver damage?  Or is this perhaps a normal state for some
animals?
