Further notes on pollen/unheated honey.

The point is that honey labelled as 'unheated' may in fact be heated to
filter it. The labels are not reliable, and unless you are able to
tell by taste if the honey has been heated (some of my honey gourmet
friends claim this ability), you will need to ask the beekeeper.
Most truly unheated honey has a light ring of beeswax at the top. However,
that is not 100% accurate/reliable as an indicator.

Bee pollen = plant pollen as collected by the bees. A trap is placed at
the front of the hive that the bees must pass through on return from
any trip, esp. pollen collection trips. The trap scrapes the pollen
off the hind legs of the bees, and it falls into a "container" from which
the beekeeper collects it to sell. If a human collected pollen, it would
cost a lot - far more than saffron (which retails for $4-7 per gram).
