I need help getting some information for a friend who is ill with CD like
symptoms and would like to try a GF diet but is used to relying on packaged
food and is a bit "science-phobic" about reading package labels etc. Does
anyone know of a GI who is CD friendly in Burnaby or the greater Vancouver
area? She was denied a biopsy because she isn't a "classic" case and has
been labelled as having IBS by both her GP and the specialist she saw.
Also, is there a dietician or nutritionist that could help her get started
on a GF diet? Finally, the names and locations of distributors of GF food
products such as baked goods, pastas, soup mixes etc in the Burnaby area
would be greatly appreciated. Please send all replies to me at
[log in to unmask] and I will forward them to here.

Thank-you in advance,

Elise
