All that is is what appears to be a vent pipe cap with a mobile antenna in 
it that doesn’t need the car body for the ground plain. If you have a spare 
mobile antenna around like that, you can make your own, the exact same thing 
for a lot less money. I have looked at the ones they sell and made a 
duplicate for a friend once except we used a triband antenna instead of 
dual. It would cover 6, 2, and 440 and worked reasonably well. I don't run 
in to that friend as much now as I used to but know he still uses it at 
times.

I don't recall the name, but some one made a vhf uhf a antenna that=20
looked like a vent pipe.
