G'day list, this got lost and was found in my draughts folder [ maybe it should be in the junk folder [really lives up to its name]
hello, I am a new kid on this list, I live in Australia and at this stage do not have a HAM license but am looking forward to obtaining one.
do you require a license to post on this list?
I did post a question several days ago and have not received a response, that is why I ask the question.
I am interested in all forms for wireless communications from commercial radio, VHF/UHF commercial [police, fire and cellular to ham and short wave.

I work in the IT & T field as a mobile network engineer, we monitor 3G/4G networks for any issues like coverage, data drop outs, signal problems and the like, we also handle base station upgrades and repairs.

it is more then just mobile phones, radio engineering is a major part in the job, antenna deployment, frequency assignment.
anyway don't want to go on to far in a introduction.
look forward to playing apart on this list.
cheers
IC
