Fred's response greatly puzzles me and even irritates me further since he
never offered such an alternative to me when I wrote to him. My communiqué
to him could not have been any more tactful; yet, I got a very terse
response.

It just delineates the point that it is who you know and the personal
connections you have. Obviously, Alan has that connection.

Guys, I sent an email to Fred informing him that some of the blind hams have
been having difficulty using qrz.com. Here is his reply to me. His email
address is [log in to unmask]

Thanks Alan,

Glad to hear that you're hanging in there!

If your blind friends are trying to use the regular web pages, I'm not
surprised that they're having trouble.
Just out of curiosity, how do they do on Facebook?

I will provide the text-only page for them, as I did for you, upon direct
request from each one who needs it.

73,

-fred
