Hi Mike,

I use N3FJP's AC Log for cluster spots and LOTW.

I am usually in or around the shack, but I don't have time to be tuning the
radio all day. What I'm doing now is a perfect example. I am using the PC
for email, but the spots are coming down on the Radio PC, and those in my
Watch List are spoken aloud.

AC Log has a Watch List that monitors the cluster spots, and when a match is
found you hear a beep, and I have Window-Eyes read the Watch List window
automatically.

To make sure I hear when the W1AW stations are about, I have entered W1AW/1
through W1AW/9 in the Watch List. I also added /KH6 to catch the Hawaii
station.

These callsigns will stay in the Watch List all year, and get triggered when
they are spotted.

You may get lots of comments about this not being in the Ham spirit, but my
philosophy is that I do what gives me pleasure. Some will denounce SSB in
favour of CW, some will knock anything they don't personally do themselves,
but the great thing about our hobby is its diversity <smile>. I say do what
suits you and makes you happy!

Best wishes, Kelvin Marsh - M0AID

how do you all get your spots to find the w1aw and other stations? I =
have a mac, so I prefer rouse that for logging if possible, but I am =
willing to use windows xp if that is better or cheaper, as longs I can =
use nvda with the windows software. I prier a free easy and simple =
program, but I would like it to handle logbook of the world. I am sure =
this topic has been covered before, but I have pretty much let them go =
by until I realized that I really need a logging and LOTW solution.
