I hope that I have an answer for you.  The TS590 remembers settings per 
band.  So go to 75 meters and check your mike gain and your power output 
setting to make sure your power is not set to 5 watts or your mike gain 
isn't set to zero. by band

Hi Tom, If I'm right, you have one of these 590s?  Can you, or maybe =
