Almost the last thing I want to do is to use my computer to control the
radio at this point. I'm going to just get a headset and work with it and
the radio and see what feels good to me. Steve had some good ideas but I'm
going to wait and see before I know what I like and don't like.

I would think that would just make things more difficult unless the radio is
like 10 feet from you. The front panel is a wonderful thing, Especially on a
Kenwood radio.
