and one last note, last I heard the elecraft SWR meter apparently does work 
with the hampod, so for anyone looking for a new and improved high quality 
swr/power meter, there you go.
It'll even do VHF and maybe UHF if I remember right with the appropriate 
cupplers.
So, no one can say there isn't an accessible SWR/Power meter available on 
the market right now.
And, seemingly, the MCount stuff is still around and an MFJ 249 is easy 
enough to locate...so the antenna analyzer thing is taken care of as well.
