The only thing I've found is use other programs, FLDigi is not accessible
and the author basically told me "too bad" when I asked him about it. For
everything except NBEMS, there is an alternative program you can use, when
it comes to NBEMS we're out of luck until someone comes up with something
better. I have the local ARES leadership contacting the program author about
it, seeing if he can be persuaded to care but for me personally his answer
was to use digitalk for some aspects of the program which won't work on any
computer I have setup for radio stuff right now and not to bother him,
bother the author of that program instead. When I told him everything I have
is XP or newer and it won't work, I pretty much got the old "go back to the
author of FLDIGI for now I'll work on it if there's a lot of demand but no
matter what it won't work on all aspects of the program anyway". So, that's
as far as I got and as I said, I just let everyone in the area know about
it, none of them seem to care it's their new pet project but it's popular in
MARS as well and for all modes they do and all but I have alternative
programs for everything except NBEMS which really is one of those things,
some groups are loving it, others aren't touching it so I'm not too worried
about it right now.
