Hi, all.

Does anyone know what the old Kenwood TMV7A draws in terms of amperage when
transmitting on high power?

I looked on icanworkthisthing.com, but the manual there omits the
specifications section.

I would suspect the current draw on high power is about 12 or 13 amps, but
am not totally sure.

I'm getting packet radio set up here, and am trying to decide whether I can
use the 7A for packet with my RS35 power supply, and the rigrunner, or
whether I need to give the old 7A it's own separate power supply.

Currently, my rig runner and Astron RS35 powers my TS590 and my TMV71A, plus
a few accessories, but obviously, everything is not operating at the same
time.
