Not to get all uppity but another way to see this is when you've been
750 feet above 42nd St and Lexington Ave, NYC on ropes and suspended
scaffolding and realize that most of the millions of dollars of work you
need to do is not because the Chrysler Bldg was nearing its 70th
birthday but because most of the folks that came before you didn't heed
the advice learned in these conferences (the repairs were garbage and
the original work was in much better condition) then you realize the
value and interest of these conferences leads you to some very exciting
experiences.
