But then you have to factor in the environmental damage, and the reality 
that children can't drive.  Distractions are cumulative, the ones that can 
be eliminated should be.  Hence forth, the bands on texting while driving, 
and requiring cell phones that have hands free operation.  It's amazing that 
so many devices in a car, have no option to use them besides visual 
interaction.  Distraction is voluntary, but taking the driver's eyes off the 
road shouldn't be a necessity.
