    Kris:

See my earlier e-mail in response to Mike.

As I said there, I don't like the ordering they put the weather frequencies
in the radio at the factory, so I just re-do them from lowest to highest.

Takes me about 5 minutes.

Tom,

You do know that you have all seven weather frequencies already built-in on
the 6A radio? So that could save you some programming, but as for the 440
band, I can't help there.

Subject: THF6A programming question

Folks:

Well, now it's time to tap into your wisdom once again.

I'm trying to program my and my XYL's THF6a's, and have run into a bit of a
snag.

I'm using the programming software, and am trying to put all of the Boulder
CO area repeaters (both 2 meters and 440) on VFO A. I'd like to reserve VFO
B for the weather channels, tv channels, aircraft channels, and other public
service stuff.

I am doing fine with the 2 meter repeaters, but whenever I try to put a 440
repeater into a memory, the software automatically defaults back to 2
meters, whiping out whatever I've just done. I tried switching to VFO B.
for the 440 frequencies, but once I'm in VFO B., I can't seem to get back
into the memories.

Obviously, I'm doing something wrong here.

Can anyone help?
