Verizon seems to be the cell service of choice out here, so this may be a 
really good way to go.

   I just made the switch from Jitterbug to Verizon.
   Call this number 800-922-0204 and ask for Randy  at extension 8514.  Give
him your old account number and he will walk you through the change, and
maybe keep your old number.  The phone I got is the most user friendly one I
have ever had.  It is model ex 55 or something like that.  It talks and you
can give it voice commands, and best of all I saved us about 20 dollars a
month over our old plan.
