Due to poor sales, and lots of customer complaints,
MS has taken a lot of the "bite" out of Vista Activation.
(I'm sure the Conspiracy people will say they are just
setting the next trap...) <vbg>

Last week, (at an MS event) they said they have it toned down to
"only" turning your desktop wallpaper black every hour...
(You can even reset it "back" for another hour...)
"Everything else" was causing too much trouble for regular users
that were caught up in the "false positive" parts of this...

The guy basically said they turned into something more like "nagware"...

I can get a better clarification very soon, at another event...
