Wow, it would seem that any "clicking" relay, wouldn't that it wear out the
relay more if you left it on because it had to turn on and / or off the
connection through the auto tuner over and over, shorten the life of it?
Unless it is a specially designed "keying" relay, etc. :) I don't know just
speculating, and haven't read more on this thread.

So, Anthony, the clicking relays won't hurt anything? In other words,
I'm not going to damage the auto-tuner by leaving it on or in line like
that?
I don't recall having this concern with my IC746, but then again, that's a
different radio.
