Melissa,

Welcome to the list! Sounds like Allizabeth has a lot of issues, but
the people here are a great bunch! If we can help you with research,
provide an ear or a shoulder, don't hesitate to ask. I'll keep you
and Alli and your son in my prayers.

> hello, my name is Melissa. I am a 31 year old single mom of an 8 yr old boy and a 4 month old girl. My daughter Allizabeth is going be diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The doctors are still working on a primary diagnosis. Most likely she will be diagnosed with periventriculor leukomalacia. Everything is so confusing to me. She also has moderate ventriculomegaly, which they saw in utero. They?did genetic testing and everything came back fine. It was done twice. They think she had a stroke in utero sometime before 18 weeks. Her last mri showed that she had part of her corpus callosum was dead and her brain is still not finished mylenated yet. She has no head control because of it. She keeps her hands and toes fisted tightly at all times. It seems to get harder and harder everyday. I try to research everything so that I understand it better. She has to have alot of therapies.

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all
progress depends on the unreasonable man.
