The mod for making the Braille rotor is in both.  The directional indicator that 
Handi-Hams sells just connects across the control box.

Hi.

I sure wish I had been on this list before I bought my Ham IV, because I
never can tell which way the antenna is pointed.  Is the mod in the control
box or the rotator itself, or both?
