Hi Danny.

I remember pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL while powering up, but don't remember if 
that was a hard reset or a soft one.

As for packet, I am trying to remember, but I don't think that had a 
terminal program, did it?  That would be what you need to run packet, 
assuming that you either have a TNC or a radio with a built in TNC like the 
Kenwood TS2000S.

It's amazing how quickly you forget these things once you stop using a product.
